Sustaining Core Institutions

The Wheatley Roundtable on Family is an annual conference that gathers student delegates from across the country to be instructed by and engage the best scholarship available on the topics of family, marriage, sexual integrity and the importance of children with the goal to help students understand and articulate the important ideas that sustain the family institution.


February 20-23, 2018

Allan C. Carlson will give the opening keynote address on Tuesday, February 20th. Check-in for conference attendees will be from 5:00 – 5:30pm.

Students who are flying should plan to arrive at the SLC airport no later than 3pm on Feb. 20th and depart no earlier than 3pm on Feb 23rd.


Aspen Grove Resort

The opening address will be delivered in the Hinckley Center Assembly Hall. The conference will continue at BYU’s Aspen Grove Resort.


College Students

Delegates are nominated by faculty from colleges across the nation for their desire to make a difference on the issue of the family.
